Follow Me

Follow me to the shore, where the waters edge shows hurt the door.

Where stars twinkle in the pale moonlight, and sandy dunes shadow the rocky sight.

Follow me and show me your heart, love eternal is not just a thought.

Breezes skitter creating seaweed squalls. Tiny turtles break free of the sand walls.

Follow me to music’s back door, waves of wonder and words of scorn.

Broken drift wood floats in to bed among the crevices and of the rocks ledge.

Follow me to the shore, be with me forever more.

Watch with wonderment as the waves wash in to cleanse our hearts of the darkness within.

Follow me to the sea, where we will cast our fears aside and fly free.

Stand by me and I’ll stand by you, hold me close as only you can do.
