Amy Daumit – President
Amy is the founder of Forget Me Not Advocacy Group. As a survivor of a 16-year abusive relationship and marriage, she has been drawn to helping others avoid abuse as well as heal from any abuse they may have experienced.
Amy, in many ways, has been trying to find her place in this world for the past 20 plus years. She holds dual degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood with a minor in psychology, as well as her Juris Doctorate (JD). Although her divorce and subsequent healing drew her away from sitting for the bar and practicing law, she believes that each experience has given her the skills to be where she is today.
Amy is a free spirit and is completely at home in her new life. She loves being outdoors and on the water, and spends her free time writing, hiking, kayaking, and singing.
Amanda is a 305 native that went to school at UCF in Orlando obtaining her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing. During her time at UCF she volunteered in multiple Psychology research labs and became the Treasurer for Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology all while working part-time at SeaWorld. Shortly after graduating in 2014 she moved down to Fort Lauderdale to be closer to family.
Amanda is currently a Social Media Coordinator for a boutique online marketing company called Brandamos. When she’s not working at Brandamos she’s at home snuggling up with her two cats, Ozzy and Gaston, while doing freelance writing. In her free time she loves reading, getting fresh air on nature trails, and binge-watching Netflix shows.
